Academics

The Academic Program--The Mesivta is based on a dual curriculum model, consisting of a college preparatory General Studies curriculum and a comprehensive Judaic Studies curriculum. Most Judaic studies are text-based, studied in original Hebrew or Aaramaic, fostering language skills. General studies offers College Prep, Honors, AP, and Dual Enrollment college credit courses with Montgomery County Community College. Courses are kept incredibly small with an average faculty: student ratio of 1:2, and an average class size of 8. This allows for student-centered instruction and tailored curriculum to meet the goals and aspirations of each student.

Additionally, our faculty members are leaders in their respective fields,  and masters of their crafts. Our staff consists of 2 doctorate degree and 25 masters degrees, 3 department chairs for Lower Merion School District, 3 AP graders, 2 IB graders, 2 Penn Fellows, 3 teachers with international teaching experience, and 4 teachers with college teaching experience. As a result, they bring years of knowledge, expertise, and research to our classrooms, providing our students with a sterling education.
