David Thomas



David Thomas is in his 39th year of teaching in the Philadelphia area. Mr. Thomas attended Earlham College where he earned a degree in Chemistry and Widener University where he completed an MEd. Mr. Thomas began teaching in February 1980 at Media-Providence Friends School, where he taught every subject in science. He also taught Chemistry as a Co-Adjunct Professor at Delaware County Community College, from 1981-1984.  In 1986, Mr. Thomas joined Bishop Eustace Preparatory School, in Pennsauken, NJ, where he taught Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. In 1988, he joined the faculty of Friends’ Central School, where he is a Maker Space teacher, fostering competencies in STEAM for Middle School students. He is also on the Board of Trustees at the Philadelphia Montessori Charter School.
