Mrs. Rachael Shalaby has been with the Mesivta since the end of December and has managed a number of student supports, interventions, and Formalized Learning Plans.  She has an aptitude for knowing a student, cultivating a relationship, and leveraging that into student growth. 

Mrs Shalaby has a Master’s in Special Education and comes from Lower Merion School District, where she worked as a support in the mainstream classrooms, as well as in the specialized classrooms as a 1:1 support teacher.  Before working at Lower Merion, she worked in the Orot program at Caskey Torah Academy.  She has enjoyed getting to know some of our students this spring, and she looks forward to supporting them in their learning and navigating the high school experience.
