Financial Aid

Tuition Aid Application Process

We look forward to working with you and your family to provide the best possible education for your son. We will do our best to help accomplish this in a way that is affordable for you.

This year, The Mesivta High School is using FACTS Management Grant and Aid Assessment to manage our scholarship process.  All families requesting aid from wither the Mesivta Scholarship Fund or EITC/OSTC funds are required to complete the FACTS application online and submit the required documentation:

  • Your most recent 1040 tax form

  • All supporting tax schedules

  • Your most recent W2 (or 1099)

All supporting documentation can be uploaded in pdf or jpeg format online.  Divorced parents will both need to submit their own forms.

Please note that FACTS charges a $35 application processing fee. Applications are then reviewed by our anonymous Scholarship Committee. Families will be notified of scholarship awards by the Admissions Office by the end of May.  Mesivta works diligently and personally to make sure every student who needs financial assistance will get it.

The deadline for all families to request scholarships through the FACTS Portal is in April 18 for priority review.  We ask that families who are eligible for EITC (Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit) or OSTC (Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit) programs to please submit this online FACTS scholarship application by no later than April 18.

To access the FACTS online application, please click here.

Applications are not complete until the online form is completed and all the requested documents are received by FACTS Management.  If you need assistance with the application or uploading documents, please contact a FACTS Customer Care Representative at 866-441-4637.

If you need assistance completing the form, or if you have any questions, please contact

Mrs. Leah Weitz, at 610-617-9200, x402 or lweitz@themesivta.org

The Foundation for Jewish Day Schools provides needs-based scholarships to students attending ten Jewish day schools, including an initiative for students with disabilities, and dozens of local Jewish pre-schools. The funds for this aid are raised through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) program.

Families interested in applying for scholarships should contact the school directly for information.  Great News!  If you or your business pays Pennsylvania taxes, you are most likely eligible to direct these taxes as contributions to Mesivta - which would make a significant impact on Mesivta's ability to fund needs-based scholarships to our school.  Please contact info@themesivta.org.

The Mesivta High School Board and Staff are deeply focused on finding ways to make a quality Jewish education affordable to our community. Teach PA is a critical partner in this endeavor. Teach PA works with Mesivta to advocate for increased government funding, resulting in scholarships, a security guard, textbooks and technology for our students, this year. Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, Teach PA has advocated strongly so that our schools and families can participate in all levels of government relief programs.  We will continue to work with Teach PA to advocate for increased government funding in areas such as EITC, security, as well as to seek new funding opportunities. Your involvement in these efforts can make a meaningful difference in Mesivta’s ability to access programs and funding. We urge you to get involved in this effort at teachcoalition.org/#join.
