Paul Kahan is a historian, educator, and museum professional. He earned his Ph.D. in U.S. history from Temple University and his M.A. (modern history & literature) from Drew University. Dr. Kahan has written numerous books, including Eastern State Penitentiary: A History and Amiable Scoundrel: Simon Cameron, Lincoln's Scandalous Secretary of War. He was recognized for teaching excellence with the Barnes Prize for Outstanding Teaching Assistant and the Butler County United Way's Red Apple Award.
