Mr.  Occhiogrosso has been teaching mathematics for 15 years. In addition to teaching Geometry, Pre-Calculus Honors and Calculus at The Mesivta, he has taught everything from Intro to Algebra to college-level math beyond the AP Calculus curriculum.  Mr. Occhiogrosso was instrumental in developing several upper-level math classes for LMSD, including Linear Algebra and Senior Maths Seminar. Justin emphasizes critical thinking skills and math application, and has developed “flipped” classrooms to provide additional support for students who learn in non-traditional ways. Mr. Occhiogrosso graduated from Boston University with a BA and MA in Mathematics, and received an award for mathematical modeling.
