Jesse Rappaport has over twenty years of experience in Social Studies education, the last twelve of which have been at Harriton High School. He has taught all grades ranging from college prep differentiated to AP.  These courses have included World History, US History, and American Government. Jesse has a BA from Hobart College where he was a member of the basketball team and the student newspaper. Jesse was selected as a Statesman Scholar his senior year, a distinction given to athletes with the highest GPA in a given term.  Jesse studied abroad in Israel, and then went on to play professional basketball for two years for Hapoel Naharyia located in Northern Israel. While there, Jesse started an after-school program for youth in the community, which included basketball instruction and tutoring English. Jesse was the head basketball coach at Harriton for ten years, before moving on to spend a year coaching at the college level.
