Ms. Watson began teaching Literature and English Language Arts in New York over ten years ago. There, she was granted the highest level of tenure the New York City Department of Education has to offer. She designed curriculum for the 9th and 10th grade teachers, headed the technical theater department, served as a teaching coach and mentor to other educators, and lead department and grade team meetings. Ms. Watson holds a Masters of English Education (M.A.) from Steinhardt School of Education, New York University and a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Goucher College in Baltimore, MD. Ms. Watson emphasizes writing skills in her courses, helping her students find their voice and craft cohesive arguments.
